Does it become difficult for you to stay productive on your study or work table as you find it way too boring? Then, this is your sign to add some magic to your work space. A well-decorated and well organised table can boost your productivity. But before starting decor, it is important to invest in good and sturdy table and a comfortable chair. Then, choose  what kind of theme you want for your work area. Don’t try to bring in each and every theme that comes to your mind. Choose a single theme and try to stick with it.  Opt for a theme, you feel most connected to. Adding colours that suit your personality can bring coziness to your work space as it is an area where your ideas flourish. We have gathered a list of ways in which you can add glamour to your dull study or work area.

1) Accessorize the area wisely!

Accessorize the area with the stuff you feel attached to or have certain memories associated with. Maybe a gift from an old school friend or a souvenir that reminds you of your favourite place. Use old tin cans, paint them or cover them with coloured paper and you can use these as pen holders.

We all want our notes to look aesthetic and attractive. But its always a challenge to keep sticky notes, tapes, paper clips and highlighters in the place. Invest in storage boxes which look classy and be functional at the same time. Use these boxes to store all these items and find them quickly at the time of making your fancy notes.

2) Hang it up!

You can have a clipboard and hang it above your desk. Use it to hang your stuff and keep the table surface clutter-free. Hanging posters of your favourite actor, your favourite film or your favourite singer in front of your desk gives the area a personal touch. You can also hang motivational quotes to reach that goal you have been working on for months or years. It would also help in filling up the empty space on the wall and overall, make the area look artistic and pleasing.

3)Lightning is crucial!

Study or work space must always have a lot of light in order to protect our eyes while we work. If your room is not that well lit, then keeping a lamp on your study table is a brainy way to bring enough light to the area. A lamp can instantly elevate the look of the area. Try to go for a lamp that won’t take up a lot of space of your table because you don’t want your table to look too cluttered.

4) Smart & Easy

Sometimes it becomes difficult to hold and read books, especially when they are too heavy. You can get a book holder if you love reading books but too lazy to hold book in your hand. Book holder can also hold tablets and make it very convenient for you to transcribe notes. It can also help you position better and prevent back ache you get after hours of looking down on screen. You can find many cool-looking book holders on our website.

5) Bring nature inside!

Indoor plants can add right amount of intrigue to the decor. There are many plants which are easy to maintain and bring freshness to your desk. Plants like photos, snake plant, jade and aloe vera can be planted in small pots and they need very limited water. You can also put a vase with real flowers and change them on alternative days or weekly. In case you don’t want to go for real flowers, go for dried plants like pampas grass or dried lavender flowers.
